Reviewing Messages
To repeat the currently playing message, press the key.
During message playback, pushing the key will advance playback to the
next message. The new message number will be announced and the message
will begin playing.
To stop message playback, press . The answering system will stop and
announce “End of messages.”
Deleting Messages
Messages will be saved unless you delete
them.
To delete a single message:
1. While a message is playing press .
The PMP-3880 announces "Message
erased."
2. The PMP-3880 will announce the next
message number and play the next
message or, if the message was the last
one, announce “No more messages.”
To erase all messages in the primary mailbox:
1. Press and hold down the key until you hear the PMP-3880 announce
"Messages erased."
To erase all messages in an individual
mailbox:
1. Activate the desired mailbox by pressing
its mailbox key (e.g. ).
2. Press and hold down the key until you
hear the PMP-3880 announce "Messages
erased, mailbox two."

Playing Back Messages
If there are new messages, the PMP-3880 will play new messages and memos
only. If there are no new messages, all messages and memos are played in the
order they were recorded in.
Playing messages in the Primary mailbox:
1. Press and release the key to hear
messages. You will hear the number of
messages, and how many of them are
new. If there are no messages, the PMP-
3880 will announce "You have no
messages."
2. At the beginning of each message, the
message number is announced. At the
end of the message, it announces the day
and time the message was received
3. After all messages have been played, the
PMP-3880 announces “End of messages.”
Note: If there are old and new messages, the unit will play new messages only.
Push key to listen to previous played messages once new
messages have been reviewed.
Playing messages in an individual mailbox:
1. Press a mailbox key (e.g. ). The
corresponding mailbox LED indicator will
blink and the number of new messages will
be announced and the message counter
display will show the total number of
messages.
2. Follow steps 1-3 of “Playing messages in
the Primary mailbox” above.
Note: When a mailbox LED is lit, messages
are present in that mailbox.
