Controlling the backlight
press fn and Y key together to start backlight cycle mode of 7 colors, and press fn and Y key again to turn
off the cycle mode of 7 colors.
when the cycle of 7 colors is off, press fn and U key together to start the single color backlight mode, the first
backlight color is white. You can press fn and U key repeatedly to choose your preferred backlight color. To turn
off the single color backlight, press fn and Y key twice.
in single color backlight mode, there are 3 brightness levels(low, medium and high) to adjust, press fn and I key
together to increase the brightness.
in single color backlight mode, there are 3 brightness levels(low, medium and high) to adjust, press fn and O key
together to decrease the brightness.
Power consumption and auto shut-off of backlight: this keyboard has 800mAh Li-Ion rechargeable battery built in, which can last
a couple of months with a full charge. But backlight consumes the battery power quite fast, that is why the backlight is set to turn
off automatically if the keyboard is not typed in 5 minutes, and turn on automatically once typing resumes. To further extend the
battery usage time, you probably should turn on the backlight at night or in low light environments.
Low battery warning: when B1, B2 and B3 LEDs blinks simultaneously every five seconds, it reminds you the built-in battery is
low, please connect the keyboard to a charger with the included USB cable. You can still use the keyboard during charging.
Please pair and connect the Macally Bluetooth keyboard to your device first, then you will be
able to use the keyboard and control/adjust the backlight as described below.
