Step 1 – Using a circular saw, jig saw or hand saw, remove both the short and long side tongues from the plank (Fig. 1) to allow room for spacers (Fig. 2). Do not trim the groove sides (Fig. A). Step 2 – Trim the long side tongue from each plank needed to complete the first row; install the planks from left to right.
