ASSEMBLY No tools required. The AXIS 12 can be used in one of two orientations: horizontal or vertical. One leg comes preinstalled on the product. HORIZONTAL For horizontal orientation, install the leg in the opposite end of the tower as shown.
VERTICAL For vertical orientation, install the leg in the same end of the tower as shown.
HOW TO USE Connect to power in two ways: OR Insert the USB plug of DC cord into the USB connector of your computer. Insert the USB plug of DC cord into the AC adaptor provided and then plug AC adaptor into a power outlet. POWER ON / OFF 1. Touch ( ) to power unit on and off. 2. There are three speeds: HIGH, MEDIUM and LOW. 3. Touch (-) to lower speed. Touch (+) to increase speed.
CLEANING & STORAGE Your fan will need regular cleaning. The fan has no user serviceable parts inside and cannot be opened for cleaning. Never clean the product in any manner other than instructed in this owner's guide. 1. Power off and unplug the unit prior to cleaning. 2. Dust or wipe the fan with a damp cloth. 3. Use the brush attachment on your household vacuum cleaner to vacuum any accumulated dust. Note: The motor is permanently lubricated and requires no oiling.
TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM The unit fails to power on. POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTION Unit is not plugged in. Plug Power Cord into USB outlet or AC adapter. If using the AC adapter, check that it is plugged into an AC outlet. Ensure unit fan speed setting is selected. Unit is damaged or in need of repair. Cease usage and unplug. Contact Consumer Service for assistance. The outlet is worn or damaged. Try another outlet for AC adapter or contact a qualified electrician. Airflow is weak or slow.

If any such defect is discovered within the warranty period, Vornado, at its discretion, will repair or replace the Product at no cost.
