7. Pull out the paper tray, remove the
pressure plate lock, load copy paper
into the tray, and push the paper tray
firmly back into the copier.
• See page 3-12, LOADING COPY
PAPER.
• Save the pressure plate lock. It
should be used if the copier must
be shipped for servicing or in case
you move.
• If the pressure plate lock is not
removed, paper will misfeed.
10. Turn the power switch on.
• Wait approximately two seconds
for the ready (
z
) indicator to light
up. Copying is now possible.
9. Plug the power cord into the copier
and then plug the other end into the
nearest outlet.
NOTE:
Be sure to insert the power cord firmly.

EINLEGEN
• Transportsicherung der Papieran-
druckplatte aufbewahren. Sie muß
bei einem Transport des Kopierers
wieder eingesetzt werden.
• Wenn die Transportsicherung der
Papierandruckplatte nicht entfernt
wurde, wird das Papier nicht richtig
eingezogen.
10. Netzschalter einschalten.
• Nach etwa zwei Sekunden leuch-
tet die Bereitschaftsanzeige (
z
)
auf. Der Kopierer ist nun betriebs-
bereit.
9. Netzkabel am Kopierer anschließen,
das andere Ende in eine Steckdose in
der Nähe einstecken.
WICHTIG:
Darauf achten, daß das Netzkabel
fest eingesteckt wird.

8. Fit the SPF exit tray.
• Insert the front tab of the SPF exit
tray into the front notch, slide the
tray to the front, and then insert the
rear tabs into the rear notches.

8. Original-Ausgabe anbringen.
• Vordere Lasche an der Original-
Ausgabe in die vordere Kerbe ein-
setzen, dann Ausgabe nach vorn
schieben. Anschließend die hinte-
ren Laschen in die hinteren Kerben
einsetzen.
