DSLR Video Accessories
Talon Kit 1
Designed for use with the Hawk or third-party viewfinders. It consists of a standard
talon quick release baseplate, stainless-steel L-bracket, and 90mm stainless-
steel rod extensions (female threaded on each end). You can attach the optional
Letus Hawk view finder directly to the Talon baseplate or to the quick release
camera plate depending on whether you want the viewfinder to remain with the
camera or the support rods. The back of the standard Talon base plate is also
ported to receive standard, male threaded 15mm support rods. This allows you
to easily mount accessories behind the camera if needed.

Talon Kit 3
Same as Talon Kit 1, except it uses the extended base and Talon riser, which
allow you to have a ‘step’ in the telescoping support rods. The 90mm stainless
steel front rod extensions can be used for easily repositioning a follow focus or
matte box when changing the lenses. The riser also provides more vertical
clearance, and is ideally used with large cinema lenses where vertical clearance
and adjustments are crucial for accessories.

Talon Kit 4
Same as Talon Kit 2 except it adds telescoping rods that are mounted directly
below the Talon quick-release baseplate with the extended base system. This is
the most compact method for having telescoping support rods. The extended
base can also be used with static / non-telescoping support rods if desired.

Letus Hawk DSLR Viewfinder
The Letus Hawk DSLR carbon fiber viewfinder is made for DSLR filmmakers who want quality optics, solid construction,
and the ability to accommodate their specific shooting needs. Uses 3 lenses in 2 groups of fully coated optics rather than a
single, off-the-shelf diopter, and offers 2.75x view factor—the ideal zoom for LCD screens. The lenses are adjustable from
+1.5 to -2.5 to accommodate near and far sighted users. Also features removable eye cup, talon basic camera plate for
mounting, X / Y / Z mounting adjustments, and 1/4-20 mount point for articulating arms

Letus Talon DSLR Camera Cage
The Letus Talon DSLR cage has a releasable camera plate along with a sliding / removable top
bridge. The camera plate can be attached from the bottom or the front of the cage for easy
camera removal when transporting. The top bridge can slide on standard 15mm diameter rods.
Add any length of support rods you need to accommodate your top bridge setup. Because the
top bridge can slide forward and backward, it makes for a very versatile DSLR rig that is easy to balance. The top bridge
can also be quick released for break down and storage. The bottom of the DSLR cage is ported for battery access on the
Canon EOS 5D MKII and EOS 7D. Extended side risers are
available if you are using the Canon 1D Mark IV or other, taller, DSLR cameras.

DSLR Rig
By configuring the Proteus Rail System for cameras such as the EOS 5D MKII
and EOS 7D, and Nikon D3S, Cinevate gives DSLR filmmaker a perfect blend of

Uno Grip
The Uno Grip is designed as an additional grip for Cinevate’s Uno, Medusa and
Proteus DSLR support systems. Able to be mounted and configured just about
anywhere on your rig, the grip uses a single “Kip” handle for no-tools adjustment

1/4”-20 female thread underneath for additional mounting possibilities.

Medusa DSLR Cage
The Medusa DSLR Cage brings a dovetailed quick-release plate and 15mm rod support to a highly customizable DSLR
accessory frame. Eight swivel joints, 4 kip handles, and two form-fitted handgrips let you adjust the width and height of
your rig for maximum comfort and stability. Lights, microphones, and other peripherals – including jibs – can attach to the
top accessory plate, while the bottom 15mm rod clamps attach to standard 15mm rod/rail systems, allowing for further lev-
