Turning Off the Indicators
The following procedure allows you to turn off the indicators
on the LCD monitor.
Note:
• You can perform this procedure in any mode.
Example:
• Setting during a movie recording.
1 During a movie recording (see page 23), press the
MENU button to display <MENU 1/2>.

2 Press ' or " to move the pointer to “DISPLAY”
(1) and then press \ or | to select “OFF” (2).

3 Press the MENU button to turn off the menu.

Notes:
• To display the indicators again, select “ON” in step 2 above.
• The following indicators do not disappear.
Mode indicators (“ ” “ ”)
Recording /Pause indicator (“ ” “ ”)
Time-Lapse mode indicator (“ ”)
Zoom indicator and Volume indicator
In some conditions the Battery power indicator and the
warning indicators appear although the setting is “OFF”.
