Looking Up the Indices Contained
on a Card
You can use this feature to find out whether
indices for the tape that you want to play back
are recorded on a card.
3 Touch [SET] to display the INDEX
SEARCH screen.
The first indices for each tape are
displayed.
5 Touch the desired index to select, and
then touch the index again to set.
To set the index enclosed by the
selection frame, you only need to touch
the index once.
The indices for the selected tape are
displayed.
1 In TAPE-VCR mode, display the menu
screen (see page 31).
2 Touch [K] or [L] to select R”, and
then touch [SET]. Touch [K] or [L] to
select “INDEX SRCH”, and then touch
[SET].

You can delete the desired index by
performing steps 3 and 4 of “To delete
indices” on page 75.
4 If the index for the tape you are search-
ing for does not appear and multiple
index list pages are recorded, touch [H]
or [J] to switch the page.
6 Touch [RETURN] until the menu screen
turns off.
