Tape Playback Using the Indices
1 Insert the recorded Mini DV cassette
and the card with the indices for the
cassette in the camcorder.
2 Set the camcorder to TAPE-VCR mode,
and then touch [1/3] until the [3/3]
screen appears.
5 Touch the desired index to select, and
then touch the index again to set.
• To set the index enclosed by the
selection frame, you only need to touch
the index once.
• The tape rewinds or fast forwards to the
beginning of the selected scene;
playback then starts automatically.
• To cancel deletion, touch [NO].
To delete all the indices on the card,
touch [DEL ALL].
4 If the index of the scene you want to
play back does not appear, touch [H] or
[J] to scroll through the indices.
3 Touch [INDEX] to display the INDEX
screen.

Note: Tape ID is the reference number that is
assigned to each tape.

3 To delete a particular index, touch the
desired index (1), and then touch [DEL]
(2).

4 Touch [YES] to delete the index/indices.
• If you delete a particular index, the
following indices are packed together
toward the front.
• If you want to delete another particular
index, repeat steps 2 to 4.
