To delete indices
1 Perform steps 1 to 3 of “To add the
index of the desired scene”.
2 Touch [DEL] to display the INDEX
DELETE screen.
To add the index of the desired scene
1 Insert the recorded Mini DV cassette
and the card with the indices for the
cassette in the camcorder.
2 Set the camcorder to TAPE-VCR mode,
and then touch [1/3] until the [3/3]
screen appears.
3 Touch [INDEX] to display the INDEX
screen.
4 Touch [MANUAL] to display the
MANUAL INDEX screen.
5 Touch [REW] or [FF] to rewind or fast
forward the tape to before the desired
scene, and then touch [PLAY/STILL] to
begin playback.
7 Touch [STOP] to stop playback, and
then touch [RETURN] to turn off the
MANUAL INDEX screen.
6 Touch [SET] at the point where the
desired scene appears.
• The image of the scene is recorded on
the card as an index.
