Operating the LCD Monitor-Remote
Control
1 Supply power to the camcorder.
2 Set the Media Selection switch on the
camcorder to TAPE, DUAL, or CARD.
3 Set the POWER switch on the
camcorder to CAMERA or VCR.
4 Operate the desired controls on the LCD
monitor-remote control.

control buttons available on the LCD
monitor-remote control.

To change the camcorder mode
1 Hold down the CONTROL dial for more
than 2 seconds.
• The MODE SELECT screen is displayed.
2 Touch the desired camcorder mode.

CONTROL dial
• When the POWER switch on the camcorder is
set to CAMERA or VCR, it is possible to turn
the camcorder power on or off by sliding the
POWER ON/OFF switch on the LCD monitor-
remote control.
CONTROL dial
• It is possible to perform the following
operations by turning the CONTROL dial.
—Zoom control in the CAMERA modes
—Volume control in TAPE-VCR mode
—Zoom control in Playback Zoom mode
(when the playback zoom indicator is
displayed in yellow)
• It is possible to adjust the settings on the
menu screen by turning and pressing the
CONTROL dial.
Note: It is not possible to display the MODE
SELECT screen when the menu screen is
displayed.
• TAPE REC: TAPE-CAMERA mode
• DUAL REC: DUAL-CAMERA mode
• CARD REC: CARD-CAMERA mode
• TAPE PB: TAPE-VCR mode
• CARD PB: CARD-VCR mode
