Multiple Strobe Playback
Available mode: TAPE-VCR
The multiple strobe playback function can be
used to capture the action of a fast-moving
subject at intervals of 1/8 of a second using a
9- or 16-frame picture. This is useful when you
want to check your form in sports such as
tennis or golf.
1 In TAPE-VCR mode, display the menu
screen (see page 31).
2 Touch [K] or [L] to select “ I ”, and
then touch [SET]. Touch [K] or [L] to
select “MULTI FRAME”, and then touch
[SET].
4 Touch [RETURN] until the menu screen
turns off, and then play back from before
the scene you want in Multiple Strobe
Playback.
Notes:
• If a card is in the camcorder, the still image
dubbing screen appears when the STILL
button is pressed during tape playback. To
turn off this screen, press the DISPLAY ON/
OFF button.
• It is possible to dub images with Multiple
Strobe Playback to a card (see page 71).
5 Press the STILL button at the point
where you want to begin the multiple
strobe playback.
• A multi-frame picture of the image is
displayed.
To cancel Multiple Strobe Playback
Press the STILL button again.
Note:
• Multiple Strobe Playback cannot be used
during video search, still or slow playback, or
together with Picture Effect Playback.
