Control Buttons on the Infrared Remote Control
1 Open the LCD monitor to a 90° angle to
the camcorder body (1), and then
rotate it 180° vertically (2).
Operating the Infrared Remote Control
2 Set the Media Selection switch on the
camcorder to TAPE, DUAL, or CARD.
3 Set the POWER switch on the camcorder
to CAMERA or VCR.

4 Aim the remote control transmitter at the
infrared remote sensor of the camcorder,
and press the control buttons for
operation.
Notes:
• Be careful not to allow direct sunlight or bright
light from interior illumination to fall onto the
remote sensor, as this may prevent the remote
control from operating properly.
• Be sure that there are no obstacles between the
remote control and the remote sensor.
