Using the Menu Screen
The menu screen can be used to adjust the
various settings of the camcorder.
6 Touch [K] or [L] to select the desired
menu item, and then touch [SET].
• The available settings for the selected
menu item are displayed.

To turn off the menu screen
Touch [RETURN] until the menu screen turns
off.
Notes:
• Certain menu items are common among the
camcorder modes. If the DISPLAY menu item, for
example, is set to “DATE+TIME” in TAPE-VCR
mode, it will be automatically set to
“DATE+TIME” in other modes.
• The menu items are displayed in yellow when the
corresponding functions are selected. The menu
items are displayed in gray when the corre-
sponding functions cannot be selected.
• The menu screen automatically turns off if no
settings are made within 5 minutes.
• The example screens in this operation manual
are for explanation purposes, and may differ
slightly from the actual screen displays.
4 Touch the page indicator until the mode
screen with the [MENU] on-screen
button appears, and then touch [MENU]
to display the menu screen.
7 Touch [K] or [L] to select the desired
menu setting, and then touch [SET].
• The selected menu setting is set.
• To adjust another menu item, touch
[RETURN] until the camcorder returns to
the status in step 5 or 6, and then repeat
the procedure from that point.

3 Touch any point on the LCD screen to
display the mode screen.
• In CARD-VCR mode, first display a still
image in full-screen (see page 92), and
then touch any point on the LCD screen
to display the mode screen.
2 Set the camcorder to the desired
camcorder mode (see page 28).
• In TAPE-VCR mode, the mode screen
appears after the POWER switch is set
to VCR. Proceed to step 4.
