Playback and Editing
Connections for Playback on a TV
Although you can enjoy playback on the VIEW-
CAM’s LCD monitor, you can also watch played-
back tapes on your TV screen.
Connection to aTV
1 Pull off the top of the AUDIO/VIDEO jack
cover ( 1 ) and rotate it to the left ( 2‘).
2 Connect the VIEWCAM to your TV with
the supplied audio/video cable, as
shown.
3 Set the input select switch on the TV to
“AV” or “VIDEO”. (For details, consult the
operation manual supplied with your TV.)

l When the VIEWCAM is connected to a TV for
playback, the picture on the TV screen may
flicker if the volume on the VIEWCAM is set to
maximum. Should this occur, turn the volume

down (see page 27).
Connection to aTV via a VCR
1 Pull off the top of the AUDIOAIIDEO jack
cover and rotate it to the left.
2 Connect the VIEWCAM to your VCR
with the supplied audio/video cable, as
shown.
3 Set the VCR to its “AV” or “LINE” input
channel. Operate the TV as you
normally do to see the signal from the
VCR. (See the operation manuals for
your TV and VCR.)

Automatic switching of the AUDIO/
VIDEO jack’s input/output mode
The AUDIO/VIDEO jack’s mode is normally set to
input. It automatically switches to output when the
VIEWCAM is playing back.
Note:
l Replace the AUDIO/VIDEO jack cover after use.
