Line Transformers are simplified transformers intended for power applications where the
primary coils is connected to either 120 or 220 VAC. They will perform step up or step down
functions plus several specialized functions of voltage and current measurement.
15.5 Coils, Relays
Multisim includes the following coils and relays:
• motor starter coil
• forward or fast starter coil
• reverse starter coil
• slow starter coil
• control relay
• time delay relay.
15.6 Timed Contacts
Multisim includes the following timed contacts:
• normally open timed open
• normally open timed closed
• normally closed timed open
• normally closed timed closed
 To change a timed contact’s value:
1. Double-click on the placed component and click on the Value tab.
2. Change the desired parameters (for example, Delay Time) and click OK to close the
component’s properties dialog.
