Be sure to save the base plate for
future use.
9 Pinch the levers 1 on the left side of the base plate
2 and pull the plate slightly toward the front; then raise
the rear portion of the base plate and remove it.

10 Insert the DIMM adapter 1 into the connector by
pressing on both edges as shown.
