Check/Subtotal void
In order to cancel all of the items registered, perform a check void. In case of you open a table for the
guest, perform a check void immediately after re-opening the table.
Under the table control, in order to cancel only newly entered items after re-opening a check, perform a
subtotal void.
Check void: In order to void all items
Under the table control, firstly open the table.
1.
Touch the subtotal area of the check to be voided.
2.
Touch the [CHECK VOID] key. Confirmation message will be appear.
3.
Touch the [Yes] to void the check.
To cancel the check void, press the [NO].
Subtotal void: In order to void a registration of item(s) after re-opening a table

Touch the subtotal area of the check including items to be voided.

Touch the [-] key.
To void condiment entry (in case that condiment entry is compulsory)
If entry for a condiment PLU item is compulsory, you cannot void a condiment entry for the item except
immediately after touching the corresponding condiment item key to make the entry (direct void). To
make direct void, touch the [-] key, and your terminal will return to the previous condiment selection
window. Also you can void the original menu PLU item (for example, "Hamburg Set") including
condiment items.
NOTE
The following two approaches are available to make condiment entry compulsory in your POS system:
1) compulsory for all condiments and 2) compulsory for each condiment.
1) When your POS system is programmed for "Condiment entry to menu item: Compulsory":
Entries for all condiments are compulsory.
For "Condiment entry to menu item: Compulsory/Noncompulsory," please refer to "POS
Programming" / "Products" / "PLU" (p.74) in the UP-X300 Back Office Instruction Manual.
2) When your POS system is programmed for the "Number of compulsive entries: 1 or more" in
"Condiment List (for each condiment)":
Entry for a corresponding condiment is compulsory.
If the number of compulsive entries for a condiment is preset to 0, entry for the condiment is
noncompulsory and can be voided.
