If the [EOD] key is placed on the Front End of the POS server (or the Back-up server when the POS
server is down), you can give a command for the Back Office system to perform End-of-Day (EOD)
operation through the Front End. Use the following procedure on the Front End, and the Back Office
system will perform End-of-Day operation.
1. Touch the [EOD] key. When you have an appropriate authority, the dialog box shown below will
appear.
2. Touch the [OK] key, and End-of-Day operation will be performed.
(If you want to select “Periodic 1” or “Periodic 2” in addition to “Daily,” check the corresponding
check box before touching the [OK] key.)
NOTE
- As you touch the [EOD] key, Authority check and Employee Function check are automatically
performed.
