1
Use caution not to touch the heating element of the
THERMAL HEAD
and PWB.
[DISASSEMBLY METHOD]
1) Remove the H-SPRINGs on the right and left sides of
the printer frame.
<Note> Pinch the H-SPRING at point E with long-nose pli-
ers and remove it taking care not to deform the rib
of the HOUSING A.
2) Remove the HEAD UP LEVER
.
3) Remove the E-RING
.
4) Remove the HEAD FRAME UNIT (Part of the assembly of
the THERMAL HEAD
and HEAD FRAME ).
<Note> Use caution not to damage or deform the HEAD
FRAME UNIT by inadvertently hitting them with the
ROLLERs and gears.
5) Remove the two SCREWs
and remove the THERMAL
HEAD
from the HEAD FRAME .
[GREASING]
Apply grease on the two mounting areas of the HEAD FRAME
.
