The Range menu allows the operator to select the concentration units, PM
standard ranges, and to set the custom ranges.
● In the Main Menu, choose Range
RANGE:
>CONC UNITS 3μg/m3
XSHARP RANGE 10000
SET CUSTOM RANGES
RANGE AVG DIAGS ALARM
The Concentration Units screen defines how the particles concentration
readings are expressed. Concentration units of micrograms per cubic meter
(μg/m
3
) and milligrams per cubic meter (mg/m
3
) are available.
When switching the selected units, the instrument’s analog ranges all
default to the highest range. For example, when switching from mg/m
3
to
μg/m
3
, the ranges default to 10000 μg/m
3
. Therefore, whenever you change
units, you should also check the range settings.
Note If the units change, the instrument should be re-calibrated. A display
warning will appear. ▲
● In the Main Menu, choose Range > Conc Units.
