Please check the following before calling for service. It may save you time and expense.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
1 Part or all of Convection
Microwave Drawer does
not operate.
• Power cord of Convection Microwave
Drawer is not completely connected to the
electrical outlet.
• Power outage.
• Fuse/circuit breaker at home doesn’t work.
• Convection Microwave Drawer is in Demo
Mode.
• Make sure the power cord is tightly connected
to the outlet.
• Check house lights to be sure. Call your local
electric company for service.
• Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker.
• See page 32 for how to cancel Demo Mode.
2 Food in Convection
Microwave Drawer is
not heated.
• No power to the appliance.
• Drawer controls improperly set.
• Drawer is in Demo Mode.
• See SOLUTION for PROBLEM 1.
• Check if the controls have been properly set.
• See page 32.
3 Convection Microwave
Drawer light does not
work.
• Light bulb is loose or burned out. • Call for service.
4 Touch controls will not
operate.
• Control Lock is on. • See page 33 to unlock.
5 Display ashes.
• Power failure. • Touch STOP/CLEAR pad and reset the clock. If
the Convection Microwave Drawer was in use,
you must reset the cooking function.
6 Steam from the vent.
• During microwaving, water vapor may come
from the left side of the vent (when facing
the microwave).
7 Fan noise.
• After using Convection or Speed Cook,
you will hear the sound of the cooling fan.
The fan may continue to operate for an
extended period of time, depending on the
oven temperature.
• Once the oven has been properly cooled, the
fan will turn off.
