FTP Server/Client Scheduler
Get data from management PC
To receive distribution data from the management PC, click the [Get data from management PC] menu.
ThisfunctioncanonlyusePULLtypedistribution.
Version information
Clickthe[Version]menu.TheClientScheduler[Version]dialogboxwillappear.
You may be asked to provide version information in the event that you need to contact SHARP regarding
a problem with SHARP Digital Signage Software.
If you input a temporary license code when installing, you will only be able to use the software for a two-month
trial period. Register your license code before the end of the trial period.
Exiting Client Scheduler
ToexitClientScheduler,clickthe[ExitClientScheduler]menu.
DonotexitClientSchedulerunnecessarily.
Distributing content directly by using USB memory or another external storage device
ThecontentcanbedisplayedsimplybyinsertingUSBmemoryoranotherexternalstoragedevicecontaining
copied content into the viewer PC.
•DonotremovetheUSBmemoryoranotherexternalstoragedevicefromthePCbeforetransferis
completed.
•DependingontheexternalstoragedevicesuchasUSBmemory,distributioncannotbeperformed
successfully.
1. Set the viewer PC to “Contents direct distribute mode.”
1) Click the icon (
) in the Task Tray in the viewer PC and click the [Setting] menu.
2) Clickthe[USBDistribute]tabandselectthe“Contentsdirectdistributemode”optionbutton(
F
p.158).
3) Set“USBmemory’sfoldertodistribute”asrequired.
4) Click[OK].
2. Copy the content to be distributed to USB memory or another external storage device.
CopythecontenttothefoldersetinStep1-(3).
The contents placed in folders lower than the set folder are not displayed.
•IntheContentsdirectdistributemode,HTMLfilescannotbedisplayed.
•Contentsareexecutedinascendingorderofthefilenames.
Byattachingaserialnumbersuchas“001,”“002,”…,attheheadofeachfilename,theorderofplay
can be set.
•Theplaytimeofcontentisusually10seconds.Forvideo,itisthetimeuntilplayiscompleted.
Byappending“_[numericalvalue]m”(minutes)or“_[numericalvalue]s”(seconds)tothefilenameofthe
content,theplaytimeofthecontentcanbeset(24hoursmaximum).
[Example]Ifimage_30s.jpgisspecified,thecontentisdisplayedfor30seconds.
•ByplacingTelop.txt(textfile)inthespecifiedfolder,itscontentscanbedisplayedasscrollmessages.
