• If using Windows Vista/7
1. Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and from the menu that appears, click [Personalize] and
then [Screen Saver].
The[ScreenSaverSettings]dialogboxwillappear.
2. Select “(None)” from the “Screen saver” list.
3. Click [OK].
Power control
Adjustsettingssothatthepanelorharddiskdonotturnofforgointosystemstandbywhileaprogramis
displayed in Program Viewer.
• If using Windows XP
1. From the Windows Taskbar, click [Start], [Control Panel], [Performance and Maintenance], and then
[Power Options].
The[PowerOptionsProperties]dialogboxwillappear.
2. Select “Never” from the “Turn off monitor”, “Turn off
hard disks”, and “System standby” pull-down menus on
the [Power Schemes] tab.
3. Click [OK].
