Zur Beachtung Allgemeines Es ist sicherzustellen, daß das Gerät in einem Raum mit guter Lüftung gestellt ist und daß ein Abstand von mindestens 10 cm entlang den Seiten und der Rückseite des Gerätes bleibt. Radio Data System (RDS) Radio RDS Radio Data System (RDS) RDS est un service de radiodiffusion qu'offrent de plus en plus de stations FM. Elles peuvent diffuser leurs programmes avec signaux supplémentaires tels que leur nom de station, informations sur les types de programmes (sports, musiques, etc.). Lorsque l'appareil capte une station RDS, les lettres "RDS" et le nom de station s'inscrivent sur l'afficheur.

S'il y a des stations déjà mises en mémoire, le nombre de stations mémorisables sont réduit d'autant. 1 Appuyer sur la touche TUNER (BAND) pour sélectionner la gamme d'ondes FM. Pour interrompre l'opération ASPM en cours: Appuyer sur la touche ASPM. Les stations préalablement mises en mémoire restent inchangées.
Pour rappeler une station en mémoire Pour écouter une station souhaitée en spécifiant le type de programme (recherche PTY): On peut rechercher une des stations mises en mémoire en désignant le type de programme (actualités, sports, informations routières, etc. ... voir page 28). 1 Appuyer sur la touche TUNER (BAND) pour sélectionner la gamme d'ondes FM. Lorsqu'une émission du type souhaité commence, l'appareil y passe automatiquement.
Pour écouter automatiquement les informations routières (EON-TI) 5 Lorsqu'une station ON (autre réseau) diffuse une émission TA, l'appareil passe automatiquement à cette station et "TI" clignote. 6 Lorsque les informations routières sont terminées, l'appareil repasse à la station qu'on écoutait. Lorsque les informations routières commencent, le tuner y passe automatiquement. Appuyer sur la touche EON lorsque l'appareil affiche "EON".
Radio Data System (RDS) (suite) Notes pour le fonctionnement RDS Il ne s'agit pas d'un mauvais fonctionnement même si l'un des cas suivants se présente: L'appareil affiche alternativement "PS", "NO PS" et un nom de station. Lorsqu'il s'agit d'une station ne diffusant pas correctement ou d'une station en cours d'essai, la fonction RDS ne fonctionne pas de façon souhaitée. S'il s'agit d'une station RDS portant de faibles signaux, l'appareil n'arrive pas à afficher le nom de la station.
Avant d'enregistrer sur un minidisc Écriture de disque (TOC) Serial Copy Management System (SCMS) Ce lecteur est doté d'un mécanisme compatible SCMS qui permet une seule copie numérique (une génération) pour protéger le droit d'auteur. Si on copie numériquement une source numérique protégée (CD audio ou autres), cette copie (première génération) ne sera plus copiée numériquement.

On entregistrera alors le MD à une vitesse normale. Précautions pour lenregistrement 4 fois plus long (LP4): Une méthode spéciale permet un enregistrement 4 fois plus long et en stéréo.

Qu'est-ce qu'un minidisc ? Un disque est enfermé dans une cartouche qui permet une manipulation facile et qui le protège contre la poussière et l'encrassement. Toutefois, si un corps étranger y pénètre ou si la cartouche est sale ou voilée, l'appareil peut mal fonctionner. Prendre les précautions suivantes.
Messages affichés Si l'appareil affiche un message d'erreur, procéder comme suit: Can't COPY Can't EDIT Can't READ* (*: numéro ou symbole) Can't REC Can't T REC Can't WRITE CD NO DISC DISC FULL EDIT OVER Er - MD ** (**: numéro ou symbole) Rien n'est enregistré (ni musique ni titre). Dépannage L'utilisateur peut résoudre pas mal de problèmes sans faire appel à un dépanneur. Général Problème Problème Dépannage Références L'appareil ne répond pas à la pression d'une touche. En cas de problème (réinitialisation) Avant de transporter l'appareil Si l'appareil a subi une force extérieure (chocs, électricité statique, surtension due à un foudre, etc.) ou une mauvaise manipulation, il peut mal fonctionner. Retirer tous les CD et tous les MD qui risquent d'endommager l'appareil en cours de transport. L'appareil vérifie la présence de disques et affiche "CD NO DISC" ou "MD NO DISC" s'il n'y a plus de disque. On mettra ensuite l'appareil en attente et le transportera.
