Usea9/16"wrenchtoremovethenutsfromthe1PPS,10MHz,&ASI
MonitorconnectorsontherearoftheLPU.
STEP 13 Usea3/16"nutdrivertoremovethescrewlockfittingsfromtheRS232and
CANconnectorsontherearoftheLPU.
STEP 14 Usea#1PhillipsscrewdrivertoremovethetwoscrewsthatholdintheUser
RemoteandTxInterfaceconnectorsontherearoftheLPU.
STEP 15 Usea#1Phillipsscrewdrivertoremovethetwoscrewsthatholdtheanalog,
satellitereceiver,ASIoverIPadapterinputs,orblankpanelsthatmaybe
installedintherearoftheLPUchassis.
STEP 16 UseanM6nutdrivertoremovethesixexpansionboardstandoffstuds.
STEP 17 Usea#1Phillipsscrewdrivertoremovethethreescrewsthatholdthefront
ofthesignalprocessorboardtothechassis.
STEP 18 Carefullyliftthefrontofthesignalprocessorboardupward,thenslideit
forwardtocleartheconnectorsontherearpaneloftheLPU.
STEP 19 Ifthereplacementboarddoesnotcontainamicromodule,usea#1Phillips
screwdrivertoremovethescrewsinthemicromoduleontheremoved
board.Opentheclipsoneithersideofthemicromoduleanditwillspring
upwardallowingremovalofthemodule.Placethemicromodulein
tothe
replacementboardandcarefullyfastenitinplace.
