Playing back a Tape
÷ ThisCamcordercanconvertan NTSCtape recordedin the SPmodeto the "PAL60"format,allowingyouto view it ona PAL-IV
whichhasVerticalsync adjustmentcircuitryfor60Hz.
"PAL60"isa specialoutputsignalformatwithwhich a PALTVcan be usedto viewatape recordedby an NTSCrecorder.
1. Set powerswitchto PLAYERmode.
2. Insertan NTSCtapeyouwantto see.
3. PressMENUON/OFFbutton,thenthe MENU listwill appear.
4. Turnthe UP/DOWNdial to "PALCONV.......OFF".
5. PressENTER,then it willchangeto
"PALCONV.......PAL60".
• Now youcansee the pictureby pressingthe PLAYbutton.
6. PressMENUON/OFFbuttonto end setting.
Notes:
__ 1. ThisCamcordercan notrecord usingthe "PAL60"system.
2. Whenan NTSCtape isbeingplayedback,the pictureon the monitorscreenshrinksinthe Verticaldirection.
3. If the signalrecordedon the tape isin bad condition,the PAL60playbacksystemmaymalfunction.
4. A PALrecordedtapecan notbe normallyplayedbackwhen "PAL60" isset ordisplayed.
