The Smart Chap energy manager,
including storage, can enable
independence levels of up to 99%
on summer days and an annual
average rate of 80%. Power
produced during the day is stored
and can be used efficiently at any
time, including the night hours.
This makes it possible to guarantee
almost complete independence from
the public power grid and increasing
power prices.
Thanks to the smart energy manager
from Sharp, electrical appliances
can be used specifically during
sunlight hours. This achieves greater
independence than conventional
battery systems.
The possibilities for self-
sufficiency with solar
energy were limited for a
long time: more energy
was produced during the
day than necessary and no
solar energy was available
at night.
Morning
The power generated by the solar
system is used for consumption within
the household. Surplus energy is stored
in the battery.
Afternoon
With a fully charged battery, the
system continues to supply the
household. Surplus energy is fed into
the grid.
