EP-510HC
12 Ton Remote Compression C-Head with Rubber Boot – 1.65” Jaw Opening
The EP-430H is a remote C-head that requires an external 10,000 psi pumping
source for operation. This unit has a larger jaw opening than our EP-410H. The
1-3/16” opening allows the user to compress larger splices up to 600 MCM. The EP-
430H is a single-acting, spring return tool. Its trim design allows for easy handling in
field applications. This unit is supplied with a 3/8” male, screw type coupler, metal
carrying case and die tray. We recommend the use of our non-conductive, high
pressure hose.
The EP-430H accepts “U” type dies designed to fit all 12 ton tools. Unique features
include a knurled handle shank, a pull die release button on top of the C-head, and
a push button die release on the opposite jaw.

The EP-510HC is a remote C-head that requires an external 10,000 psi pumping
source. It accepts all “U” type dies used with conventional 12 ton compression
tools. The larger jaw opening of 1.65” accepts conductors and mid-span sleeve
connections up to 750 MCM. The EP-510HC is supplied with a screw type, 3/8”
male coupler, metal carrying case, and die tray. We recommend the use of our non-
conductive high pressure hose.
NOTE: When using any of these high-pressure tools, always use 10,000 psi rated
non-conductive hose (NC-16 series).
