Problems Causes or possibilities Remedies
The measurement
readout is unstable.
z Bubbles stick to the sensor.
z Bubbles appear because the flow rate is
too fast.
z The level of the measuring solution has
changed, and thus the area of the sensor
that contact with liquid has changed.
z Do not allow bubbles to appear in the
measurement liquid.
z Control the flow rate.
z Install the instrument in a way that the level of
the measuring solution does not change.
z Rapid changes in liquid temperature.
z Screws of the terminal block are loose.
z Insulation of the terminal block has been
weakened.
z Install the instrument in a place where liquid
temperature does not change drastically.
z Tighten them securely.
z Drain the moisture of the terminal block.
z Clean the terminal block.
Abnormal value is
displayed.
z The sensor is stained.
z The sensor is not soaked in the sample
liquid.
z Wash the sensor.
z Install the instrument in a way that the level of
the measuring solution does not change.
z Disconnection or short circuit of the
sensor cable
z Loose connection with the terminal block
z Check the sensor cable.
z Check the terminal block.
Response is slow.
z The flow rates is slow.
z The uneven concentration of the
measuring solution (when a tank has
been installed)
z Increase the flow rate.
z Stir the sample well.
z Install it in a place where the concentration is
even.
The instrument
cannot be turned
on.
z The power supply voltage is out of the
rated voltage range.
z Wiring mistake
z Internal error of the instrument
z Check the power supply voltage.
z Check the wiring.
