5. Press the ENT key.
The compensation coefficient is updated. Now the adjustment for the compensation
coefficient of conductivity zero point has completed.
Tip
z To abort the calibration, press the MEAS key. The instrument will return to the calibration menu
without changing calibration data.
z To set another item in the calibration setting next, press the UP/DOWN key to display it.
4.3.3 Adjustment of compensation coefficient for cell constant (Span)
Set the compensation coefficient to match the measured value with the reference conductivity
meter.
Note
z You need not adjust the cell constant compensation coefficient when the sensor setting has been
completed. However, the cell constant may change because of degradation of the sensor and
other reasons. You need to adjust the cell constant compensation coefficient only in such
occasions.
z Calibrations and sensor settings are made independently. Therefore, the calibration does not
affect the sensor settings. If you want to return the instrument to the original state, set the
compensation coefficient to 1.000.
Operation
1.
Hold down the MNT key in the measurement mode until the MNT lamp lights up.
The instrument enters the maintenance mode, and “SEt” is shown on the measurement
display.
Measurement stops, and the instrument enter a state of hold.
2. Press the DOWN key to display “CAL” on the measurement display, and then press
the ENT key.
The instrument enters the calibration menu and “t_” is displayed on the sub-display.
3. Press the UP/DOWN key to display “SPAn” on the sub-display, and then press the
ENT key.
The instrument enters the menu for adjusting the compensation coefficient for cell
constant. The sub-display starts blinking.
4. Press the UP/DOWN key to set the compensation coefficient.
UP key : Increments the value by 0.001.
DOWN key : Decrements the value by 0.001.
The setting range is 0.700 to 1.300.
5. Press the ENT key.
The compensation coefficient is updated. Now the adjustment for the compensation
coefficient of cell constant (Span) has completed.
