Selection of calculation method for temperature compensation
Select the calculation method for temperature compensation.
1. Open the measurement condition setting screen referring to “How to open basic
setup menus” (page 19).
The setup item selection screen is displayed on the measurement display, showing the
display for unit setting, “Unit”.
2. Display “tC” on the measurement display using the DOWN key, and press the ENT
key.
The sub-display starts blinking. Now you can change the setting.
3. Press the UP/DOWN key to set the calculation method for temperature
compensation.
PurE : Temperature compensation based on the temperature characteristics of
deionized water
nACl : Temperature compensation based on the temperature characteristics of NaCl
t.CoE : Temperature compensation based on the temperature coefficient for conductivity
(%/
°C) and used-defined reference temperature
oFF : No temperature compensation
4. Press the ENT key to establish the setting.
Tip
z In the “PurE” mode, you can change the reference temperature to a value other than 25°C.
z In the “nACl” mode, you can change the reference temperature to a value other than 25°C.
z In the “t.CoE” mode, you can set the temperature coefficient in the range of -5%/°C to 5%/°C and
reference temperature in the range of 5
°C to 95°C.
z In the “oFF” mode, no “out of the temperature compensation error” arises.
z To set another item in the measurement condition setting next, press the UP/DOWN key to
display it.
z To return to the basic setup menu, press the MEAS key.
