2.3.4 Connecting the power supply
About the power switch
This instrument has no power switch. Install a power switch or circuit breaker around to turn
ON/OFF the instrument.
Connecting the power cable
The power supply of this instrument is a variable power supply that the rated voltage is 100 V
to 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
The maximum power is 10 VA.
Connect and ground the power cable referring to the figure below.
About the grounding
The grounding for the instrument should be separated from that of electrical devices such as a
motor.
2.3.5 Attaching the terminal covers
Be sure to attach the terminal cover after wiring to the terminal block is completed.
Warning
Electric Shock
Make sure that no electric power is supplied to the instrument before starting this
work.
Do not turn on the power until your work is completed.
Caution
Operating the instrument using a voltage out of the rated range may cause it to
malfunction. Be sure to check the voltage of the power supply. Also make sure that
the fluctuation of the power supply voltage is within the range of 10% of the rated
voltage.

Class D grounding
Mandatory
Be sure to ground the earth terminal (class D grounding) for safety.
