T200 User's Manual SECTION 3: WIRING AND INSTALLATION
PAGE 3-36
There is a limitation to the number of T200-X00 units that can be attached to a T200-X10. This limitation is
summarised below.
CAUTION:- Limit on Number of Units without PSU Connected to a
T200 Unit with PSU (T200-X10)
The D.C. Bus output of a T200-X10 is capable of supplying up to 6.5kW continuously when
connected to three phase mains. The user should calculate the continuous electrical power
requirements for each axis in the application. The following conditions apply:-
§ The sum of the electrical power requirements, including all T200's (i.e. one T200-X10 and several
T200-X00s) connected in a daisy-chain via the D.C. Bus, should not exceed the rated continuous
input power limit summarised for each T200-X10 model in the table below.
T200 Model
T200-310 T200-410 T200-510 T200-610 T200-710
Rated Continuous
Input Power
7.5kW 7.5kW 7.5kW 15.0kW 15.0kW
§ The sum of the electrical power requirements of all T200-X00's (i.e. all of the units which do not
contain an integral A.C. Mains PSU), connected in a daisy-chain via the D.C. Bus, should not
exceed 6.5kW.
§ The absolute maximum number of connected T200-X00 units is hard limited to 4, irrespective of
the calculations above.
If in doubt, consult Moog applications engineering for advice on sizing how many units without mains
interface PSU (T200-300 to T200-500) units can be connected to a unit with mains interface PSU
(T200-310 to T200-710).
