3.10 Providing D.C. Bus Power from a T200-X10 Unit to T200-X00 Units
A T200-X10 unit contains an a.c. mains rectification stage, which generates a D.C. Bus voltage from the a.c. mains. A
T200-X00 unit does not contain this rectification stage. It accepts a high power input only in the form of a high voltage
D.C. Bus. This D.C. Bus is fed from a T200-X10 unit to one or several T200-X00 units, which are connected to the
T200-X10 in a daisy-chain configuration.
Figure 3.14 shows the interconnect of the D.C. Bus from a T200-X10 to T200-X00 units which share high power via
the D.C Bus.

Figure 3.14:- Daisychaining the High Voltage D.C. Bus from a T200-X10 to T200-X00 Units
WARNING:- For 230Va.c. mains input, the magnitude of the D.C. Bus voltage is
approx. 325Vd.c. The D.C. Bus terminals at TB3 of the T200-X10, and at TB2 and
TB3 of the T200-X00, have lethal voltages present. All T200 terminals should not be
accessed for service or other purposes before removal of all power and waiting 5
minutes for all internal voltages to decay to harmless levels.
CAUTION
:- The T200-X10 D.C. Bus output (on connector TB3) will conduct up to
20Ar.m.s. continuously. If the T200-X10 or T200-X00 D.C. Bus connections (D.C.+
and D.C.-) from a T200-X10 to a T200-X00 are reversed in polarity, then the T200 will
be damaged because of a high current which flows out of the T200-X10 DC+ terminal
on TB3. A T200-X10 which is damaged in this way must be returned to Moog for
repair, and should not be opened for service by the user.
