3.7 Three-Phase A.C. Mains Power Source Configuration
The T200 may be supplied from a three-phase a.c. mains input. In this case the following user supplied options are
required:-
1. Three-Phase Mains Circuit Breaker
2. Mains Matching Transformer (400/440/480Va.c. to 230Va.c.)
3. Mains Contactor
For a control-backup power source either of the following may be used:-
1. 24Vd.c. Power Source OR
2. 120Va.c. Power Source. This power source must provide galvanic isolation between the 120Va.c. output (to be
connected to the T200 at TB6) and the T200's a.c. mains inputs.
Note that if the a.c. mains is still applied, and the control-backup power is removed, then the T200 control section will
still operate correctly. Control power can still be generated from the high voltage D.C. Bus.
Figure 3.11 below outlines typical interconnect in a multi-axis T200 system, which is powered by 3-phase a.c. mains
supply.
NOTE - If the T200 is used in three-phase mode, then an isolation
transformer must be used
Required for
CE-Compliance
CAUTION If the 120Va.c. logic backup power supply option is used,
the 120Va.c. output for connection to the T200, MUST be galvanically
isolated from the T200's a.c. mains input, otherwise damage to the T200
may occur.
