Not only does the TX

DS989 remember
the surround mode, speaker
configuration and output levels
you enter during the configuration process
for an input source, it automatically selects
them any time that source is chosen. It also
remembers your settings for each signal
type that comes from each input source. For
example, if your DVD player is also your
CD player, and the DVD video signal is
DTS and the compact disc signal is PCM,
you can set a different listening mode for
each one. That means
movies and music,
