CD/MD HIGH FIDELITY RECEIVER

integrates a powerful high-current amplifier, cutting-edge MD

recorder/player, state-of-the-art CD player and high-sensitivity FM

tuner into a single hi-fi component—all on a rugged, solid metal

chassis no bigger than an average CD player. Its CD section is derived

from Onkyo’s higher-end CD players, employing hand-selected audio-

phile parts, to deliver smooth, precise CD sound. And its amplifier

section gets its critically acclaimed performance from Onkyo’s world-

leading amplifier technology, using two dedicated transformers: one for

the digital circuits and one for the analog circuits. For reliability and

improved long-life performance, a thick-gauge solid-steel plate completely

separates the heat-generating components from the mechanical parts.
