Messaging 99
Messaging
The Messaging program within your R380e allows you to send and
receive a number of different types of message from your business
contacts and friends.
Messaging provides access to various functions which enable you to
create and send e-mail/SMS messages, receive and view
e-mail/SMS messages, perform a search for specific messages and
generate a secure access passcode.
Note: Before you can start using the send and receive functions
within Messaging, it is important that you configure your R380e to
use this service. See “Messaging settings” on page 173 and “Service
providers settings” on page 185 for further information.
Four task-specific icons are designated in the Messaging desktop to
help you to perform these tasks:
•
View Messages.
•
New e-mail.
•
New SMS.
•
Find.
