6Introduction
Insert the CD into your PC’s CD-ROM drive and the main menu
should appear automatically.
From the main menu you can start:
•
A multimedia presentation, R380 Product Information, which
is an on-screen description of the functions of the R380e.
•
The installation of the Ericsson R380 Communications
Suite, for PC synchronization, backup and restore of R380e data.
Note: See “R380 Communications Suite” on page 191 or the CD
sleeve for more information if the CD-browser does not appear when
the CD is inserted into your PC’s CD-ROM.
•
Change Language in R380, when synchronized.
•
The R380 User’s Manual, which is an electronic document
containing a comprehensive description of all your R380e
functions in portable document format (pdf).
Note: Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 should be installed on your
PC to read the R380e User’s Manual.
•
The installation of Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0.
Note: R380e User’s Manual information on the CD is exactly the
same as the printed R380e User’s Guide. The names are different so
that the printed document and the electronic document can easily be
recognised.
•
The installation of Lotus Organizer version 5.0.
