ProDaylight 200 & 400 Air
The new ProDaylight 200W and
400W versions are even smaller
and more lightweight than the
ProDaylight 800 Air, yet powerful
and robust. ProBallast is multi-
voltage, flicker-free and automatically senses
that a 200Wor a 400W head is connected –
and adjusts itself accordingly!
Both are compatible with most Profoto Light
Shaping Tools. The compatibility to the
Profoto light shaping system plus the small
size of the lamps provides endless possibilities
to be creative. In addition, they are also have
built-in Profoto Air transceivers which allow
remote control operation.
Profoto ProDaylight 800 Air
ProDaylight Air is a Metal Halide (HMI) base
continuous light source that is dedicated to
work with most existing line of Profoto’s Light
Shaping Tools. The efficient lamp provides
daylight color temperature, which is ideal for
many photo and video shoots.
In addition, ProDaylight units are equipped
with a state-of-the-art cooling system that
is designed to eliminate noise and make live
sound recording easier. They are designed for
heavy-duty use with metal housing, ballasts
and solid, reliable components that withstand
even the most demanding shooting situations.
ProDaylight also has built-in Air radio remote
capability, which gives the user the ability to
activate or deactivate and dim 50% of the light.
By using Profoto’s Studio software, you can
create and coordinate a multiple lighting setup,
which includes numerous units of flashes and
continuous lights from the computer.
Flicker-free electronic ballast with control of
the frequency enables user to use ProDaylight
in low frame to high frame per second video
shoots. ProDaylight is designed to produce
higher efficiency and light quality for both
photographers and videographers.
