The Super Jump function links the dictionaries integrated in PW-E430, so that words
fromadetailscreencanbequicklymarkedandexplainedortranslated.
UsetheSuperjumpfunctiontoselectanywordinthedetailviewofeachdictionary,
then initiate a search based on the selected word.
How to use the Super jump function
<Example>
InitiateaSuperjumpsearchviaLangenscheidt
Deutsch-Englisch.
1. In Langenscheidt Deutsch-Englisch, show the
detailviewoftheword‘richtig’.
2. Press
SPRUNG
. The cursor appears to
selecttherstwordintheview.
3. Usethe
keys to move the
cursor (and its selection of word) to a desired
word(select‘Antwort’inthisexample).
• Thepressingof
SPRUNG
also moves
the cursor.
• Thejumpicon(
, ) item can be selected.
4. While the desired word is selected, press
ENTER
.
 TheSuperjumpwindowappearstodisplay
selectable items.
Using the Super jump function
• A list of matching words is displayed. If no match is found, then a list of up to 30
closely spelled words per dictionary will be searched and displayed. If the search
returnszeroresults,amessage‘Nichtgefunden!’appearsmomentarily.
• Avariantorinectedformofaheadword,orapartialsegmentofacomponent
verbmaynotbeinitiatedforaSuperjumpsearch.
• Press
EN-DE

DE-EN
,
SP-DE
or
DE-SP
instead of pressing
ENTER
,
tospecifythedictionarytojumpto.
• Ifonlyonematchisfoundorthejumpicon(
, ) item is selected, then the
descriptionoftheitemwillbedisplayedintheSuperjumpwindowinstead.
5. Usethenumberkeystoselectadesiredword
in the list (press

 Thetranslationsordenitionsoftheselected
wordaredisplayedintheSuperjumpwindow.
• Press
ESC
to return to the previous view.
• When‘
’and/or‘ ’appearsontheleftsideofthewindow, or
can be used to scroll the window.
6. Press
ENTER
tojumptothetranslationsor
denitionsoftheselectedword.
The detail view of the selected word appears.
• Press
ESC
to display the previous view.
About the detail view after the Jump
• Thebehaviourandfunctionofthedetailviewisthesameasthedetailviewafter
an ordinary search.
• Press
2nd
ENTF
at the detail view to go back to the dictionary's input screen.
• AchainofmultipleSuperjumpactionscanbebacktrackedupto10timesby
pressing the
ESC
key.
