Reset/Functional Restriction Setting (FUNCTION Menu)
You can reset the settings to the factory default settings
or restrict operations. When you use FUNCTION menu, a
password is required. (Factory setting) (See page 45.)
Perform the operation from the remote control unit.
1. Press the FUNCTION button, and then press the MENU
button within 10 seconds.
The FUNCTION menu appears.
2. Select and set the items.
ALL RESET
Resets the settings to the factory default settings.
In “APPLICATION” mode, only the settings of the factory-
installed applications are initialized.
If you select “ALL RESET”, a confirmation message is
displayed. Select “All Reset”.
This monitor restarts when initialization ends.
Monitor Lock
You can disable operations on the monitor that use buttons.
Off:
Enables operation.
Power Button:
Locks Power Button operation.
Touch:
Locks touch operation.
Power Button & Touch:
Locks Power button and touch operation.
Remote Control Lock
You can disable operations on the remote control unit that
use buttons.
Off:
Enables operation.
All:
Locks all button operations.
Except Power & Volume:
Locks operations other than power operation and
VOLUME +/-.
Application Lock
Sets whether or not to lock the use of the following
application.
• Updater
• Synappx
• Bytello Share
• Web Browser
User Apps Installation
Sets whether or not to allows the installation of
applications by the apk file.
Closing the FUNCTION menu
• Press the MENU button or RETURN button on the remote
control unit.
• Touch other than the FUNCTION menu.
Caution
• Applications installed by customers are out of scope of
guarantee.
• Check the safety of applications.
Some applications may affect the operation of other
applications and this monitor.
Also, there is a possibility of a virus infection, data
corruption, falsification, or leakage.
