MOUNTING PRECAUTIONS
• Thisproductisforuseindoors.
• AmountingbracketcompliantwithVESAspecicationsis
required.
• Sincethemonitorisheavy,consultyourdealerbefore
installing,removingormovingthemonitor.
• Mountingthemonitoronthewallrequiresspecialexpertise
andtheworkmustbeperformedbyanauthorizedSHARP
dealer.Youshouldneverattempttoperformanyofthis
workyourself.Ourcompanywillbearnoresponsibility
foraccidentsorinjuriescausedbyimpropermountingor
mishandling.
• Usethemonitorwiththesurfaceperpendiculartoalevel
surface.Ifnecessary,themonitormaybetiltedupto20
degreesupward.
• Whenmovingthismonitor,besuretoholditwiththe
handles,theunitsides,theunitbottomortheunittop.Do
notgraspthescreen,unitcorner,tray,speaker,orspeaker
cover.Thismaycauseproductdamage,failure,orinjury.
• Thismonitorshouldbeusedatanambienttemperature
between41°F(5°C)and95°F(35°C).
• Becarefulofhightemperaturesinthesurroundingarea.
Ifitisdifculttoprovidesufcientspaceforanyreason
suchastheinstallationofthemonitorinsideahousing,or
iftheambienttemperaturemaybeoutsideoftherange
of41°F(5°C)to95°F(35°C),installafanortakeother
measurestokeeptheambienttemperaturewithinthe
requiredrange.
• Temperatureconditionmaychangewhenusingthemonitor
togetherwiththeoptionalequipmentsrecommendedby
SHARP.Insuchcases,pleasecheckthetemperature
conditionspeciedbytheoptionalequipments.
• Donotblockanyventilationopenings.Ifthetemperature
insidethemonitorrises,thiscouldleadtoamalfunction.
• Donotplacethemonitoronadevicewhichgeneratesheat.
• Adheretothefollowingwheninstallingthemonitorinits
portraitorientation.Failingtoadheretothefollowingmay
causemalfunctions.

thebottomside.

Besuretoclampthepowercord(supplied)ontothecable
clampattachmentusingthesuppliedcableclamp.When
clampingthepowercord,takecarenottostresstheterminal
ofthepowercord.Donotbendthepowercordexcessively.

monitorinportraitorientation.

• Whenusingthemonitorlayingatonasurface(whenthe
monitoristiltedmorethan20degreesupwardfromthe
perpendicularinrelationtoalevelsurface),consultan
authorizedSHARPdealerbecausetherearesomespecic
mountingconditions.

maycausemalfunctions.

-Usethemonitorattheambienttemperaturebetween41°F
(5°C)and86°F(30°C).Provide7-7/8inch(200mm)ormore
spacebetweenthemonitorandtheoororothermounting
surfacesandsurroundingobjectstopreventheatfrom
accumulatinginside.Ifitisdifculttoprovidesufcientspace
oriftheambienttemperaturemaybeoutsideoftherangeof
41°F(5°C)to86°F(30°C),installafanortakeothermeasures
tokeeptheambienttemperaturewithintherequiredrange.
