Caution
• Whenallconnectionsarecomplete,turnonthepower.
• Turnonthemonitorrstbeforeturningonthecomputeror
playbackdevice.
• EvenwhenthepoweristurnedoffwiththePOWERbutton
onthemonitor,aminuteamountofpowerisconsumedif
thepowercordisconnected.
Turning power on/off
1. Press the POWER button on the side of the monitor to
turn on the power.

2. Turn the power on and off with the POWER button on
the remote control.
Pointtheremotecontrolunittowardtheremotecontrol
sensor(seepage16)onthemonitor,andpressthe
POWERbutton.
TIPS
•
Whenthepoweristurnedoffanddisconnectthepowercord,
thepowerLEDturnsoffandthereisnopowerconsumption.
Caution
• Whenthepoweristurnedoffandonbydisconnectingand
connectingthepowercord,orusingthebreaker,system
startupmaybeslow.
•
Whenturningthepoweroffandbackon,alwayswaitforat
least5seconds.Ashortintervalmayresultinamalfunction.
• Foracompleteelectricaldisconnection,pulloutthemain
plug

Whenthemonitoristurnedonforthersttimeafterbeing
shippedfromthefactory,theoperationmodesettingscreen
willbedisplayed.SetittoMODE1orMODE2.
MODE1....OFFIFNOOPERATIONissetto4HR..(These
settingscannotbechanged.)
Ifthereisnooperationfor4hoursormore,the
monitorautomaticallyentersstandbymode.
MODE2....Willperformstandardoperation.
OFFIFNOOPERATIONissettoDISABLE.These
settingscanbechanged.
Evenafterbeingset,changescanbemadeusing
OPERATIONMODE,locatedinthemenuofthemonitor.(See
page25.)
