Basic Operation
Auto playback of image and audio les (Slideshow)
When the input mode is set to USB and a USB ash drive is inserted in the USB port, the image les in the root folder of the
USB ash drive will be automatically displayed as a slideshow. If there is an audio le in the root folder, the audio le will also
automatically play. If you want to present a slideshow in a different folder, see page 19.
TIPS
• Playback will also start automatically if you change from an input terminal other than USB to USB with a USB ash drive
inserted.
• The types of les that can be played in USB ash drive are as follows:
File system FAT16, FAT32
Image les jpg (jpeg), png
Audio les mp3
Bit rate: 32 kbps to 320 kbps
Sampling frequency: 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz
WMA
Bit rate: 32 kbps to 192 kbps
Sampling frequency: 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz
(WMA9 les are not supported.)
• In some cases it may not be possible to play the above les.
• Use half-width alphanumeric characters for the folder name or le name. It may not be displayed correctly.
• Up to 600 les can be handled in the slideshow folder.
• When le names or folder names are long, some characters may not appear in the list screen.
• If there are no image les in the root folder of the USB ash drive, the list screen will appear (page 19).
• In PowerPoint, les can be saved in jpeg or png format.
• To change data transfer to the USB ash drive or the order of slideshow display, use the USB Flash Drive Media Tool on the
CD-ROM. For details, refer to “USB Flash Drive Media Tool Operation Manual”.
• During a slideshow, the remote control or some buttons may not respond when operated.
This is caused by the heavy image processing load and is not due to a product failure or problem.
