Using the Floppy Disk Drive Externally
To use the floppy disk drive as an external drive, follow the steps below:
1. Install the floppy disk drive into the optional floppy disk drive box(CE-FC02).
Simply slide the drive in until it clicks into place.
2. Shut down your computer.
3. Plug the cable from the floppy disk drive box into the parallel/FDD port on the
rear edge of the computer.
4. Restart your computer.
To remove the floppy disk drive from the floppy disk drive box, release the lock
latch on the base of the cover and pull the floppy disk drive out of the box.
