17. Repeat the above steps to remove another Cirrus Logic PD6832 CardBus
Controller.
18. Click Refresh.
19. Make sure both of Cirrus Logic PD6832 CardBus Controller are attached with
the X marks.
20. Click Close; then, Yes.
21. Restart the system.
To use other PC cards, you need the following settings after the above steps:
1. From the Start menu select Settings - Control Panel.
2. Double-click the PC Card icon.
3. In the PC Card Wizard, make sure No is selected, and click Next.
4. In the next window, make sure No is selected, and click Next again.
5. Click Finish.
6. Click Yes. The system automatically shuts down.
7. Turn on the notebook again.
8. From the Start menu, select Settings - Control Panel.
9. Double-click the System icon.
10. Select the Device Manager tab.
11. Double-click PCMCIA socket and make sure two Cirrus Logic PD6832
CardBus Controllers are displayed (without X marks).
12. Click OK.
13. Double-click the My Computer icon.
14. Double-click the C: icon.
15. Click the CardWork folder.
16. From the File menu, select Delete.
17. Click Yes, and delete all the files in the folder, following the instructions on the
screen.
