Client soware and Edge Node installation
This is the installer that you run on your computer aer being invited to a Pocket or Hive
organisation. It contains the ‘client soware’ (which lets you see the PaperCut Printer and
also the Edge Node soware (which lets you participate in the Edge Mesh).

Firewall ports and networking
In many networks, Pocket and Hive should ‘just work. However if you have a more restrictive
firewall policy in place, you may need to open the following ports to get everything working:
9263 HTTP protocol for accepting print jobs from Chromebook clients.
9264 HTTPS protocol for job replication between the Edge Nodes and for accepting print jobs
from Windows, macOS, Android and iOS clients.
9266 HTTPS protocol for oline printing.
443 MQTT protocol to send notifications to the edge nodes and to the PaperCut Cloud services.
161 TCP/UDP protocol used for SNMP requests.
162 TCP/UDP protocol used for SNMP requests.
631/80 IPP/IPPS to release jobs using the IPP/IPPs protocol.
