Using the Message Service
Setting Cell Info
Cell info is the message information that operators send
to subscribers in certain areas. When you receive cell
info, the message (area code) is displayed on the standby
screen.
Enabling/Disabling Cell Info
1 Press B.
The main menu appears.
2 Press a, b, c or d to highlight “Messages”
and press B.
The “Messages” menu appears.
3 Press a or b highlight “Cell Info” and press B.
The “Cell Info” menu appears.
4 Press a or b to highlight “On” or “Off” and
press B.
This function may not be available on all phone
networks. Contact your service provider for more
information.
If cell info is set to “On,” the standby time will
decrease because of increase in the battery
usage.
